Dear Friends and Supporters of St. Isidore,

The new school year is upon us and, once again, we face extraordinary challenges to assure our St. Isidore students achieve the academic growth we expect as well as the Christian values we cherish.  This can only be accomplished with the continued support of the amazing parents and supporters of St.Isidore. The 9th Annual St. Isidore Gala will be held February 25, 2012, at Abbington - Banquets in Glen Ellyn, IL.  So please save the date, and know that your support is critical to its success.

Of course, we are eternally grateful to our local businesses, which have always been a considerable base, from which we build St. Isidores’ success. For nearly eight years, through the good and tough times, we’ve been able to count on our business community. Once again, we say Thank You. A million
times, thank you.

We anticipate over 300 families to attend this year’s benefit auction. By supporting the St. Isidore Gala, you are assured your name will be recognized by the families in attendance. Additionally, because we understand how important your marketing dollars are in these tight economic times, we want to put your name in front of as many people as possible. This year you have additional exposure to one of the largest parishes in the Joliet Diocese. This year’s marketing strategy includes opportunities for you to be seen on the St. Isidore Website, event signage, social networking as well as the parish newsletter. All in all, your sponsorship will be placed in front of approximately 23,000 members of St. Isidore, one of the largest parishes in the country.

Sponsorship and advertising opportunities are detailed in the Donation page. Our goal is to offer a level of support that fits every business’ budget. There are many benefits to becoming a part of our program book since it will serve as a business directory for all our families and parishioners. If you would prefer to donate an item or a service, we have also enclosed our item donation form.

We are so grateful for your continued support. It means so much to us that you continue to support this all important fundraising event. Only through your amazing generosity can we maintain and grow as a community of students, educators, parents and parishioners. In return, please know that we will continue to spread the word of your aid in hopes that your business, too, will prosper.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Gratefully yours,

Debbie Isoda

About

St. Isidore was a farm hand. He was born near Madrid, Spain in 1070. He attended mass every morning at a Madrid church before he set out for work as a farm laborer.  Isidore and his wife vowed celibacy in gratitude for a miracle which saved their son from drowning in a well. They were known for their holiness and care of the poor. St. Isidore died May 15, 1130. He was canonized with other Spaniards - St. Ignatius Loyola, St. Francis Xavier, and St. Teresa of Avila on March 12, 1622.
