   Volunteers are always welcome.  Past Auction and Dinner Dance would not have been a success without the dedication and enthusiasm of our volunteers.  They are our silent angels disguised as ordinary people ... doing extraordinary things.  All for the benefit of our children.
 

  St. Isidore School in Bloomingdale, IL is selling tickets for their Grand Raffle on February 25, 2012 at Abbington Banquets in Glen Ellyn, IL. The winner will receive $15,000 Cash . Tickets are $100 each and only 750 tickets are being sold. Please contact the school office at 630-529-9323 to purchase tickets. Visa and Mastercard are accepted. You can also visit the parish website (www.stisidoreparish.org) to purchase tickets. This fundraiser benefits the school and the Religious Education Programs . About

St. Isidore was a farm hand. He was born near Madrid, Spain in 1070. He attended mass every morning at a Madrid church before he set out for work as a farm laborer.  Isidore and his wife vowed celibacy in gratitude for a miracle which saved their son from drowning in a well. They were known for their holiness and care of the poor. St. Isidore died May 15, 1130. He was canonized with other Spaniards - St. Ignatius Loyola, St. Francis Xavier, and St. Teresa of Avila on March 12, 1622.
