CYM 101

Connect Youth Ministries programs are not designed to “teach” faith to teens, but to provide them with the tools and empowerment to become lifelong Disciples of Christ, centering on community and faith relationships.

Our CYM 101 program is the first step for teens in 7th-11th grades preparing for Confirmation. Church guidelines state that 20 hours of formation are required before receiving the sacrament of Confirmation, and these hours are fulfilled between the CYM 101 & Confirmation Prep years. Teens who currently attend, or have recently graduated from, a Catholic School (such as St. Isidore Catholic School, another Catholic grade school, or a Catholic high school) will have already completed the prerequisites for Year 1.

Registration for CYM 101 opens in April, with sessions beginning in September and ending in March. Parents will register their teen again the following April for the Confirmation Prep program.
